This is our weekend project 3/19/11 to raise my trailer height and lower the fenders so that a 4-wheeler can be loaded from the side of the trailer and not hit the fender. It also required that we remove the trailer tongue and weld on a new one. All the work was done by my very talented kids, Adam and John, with me as supervisor/go-fer/clean-up boy.
Always center punch metal to insure accuracy. John is using great grandpa Dutch's sledge hammer he made as a blacksmith working for the railroad.
Ashton is helping with his magnet to pick up all the steel filings
Always use safety glasses when grinding-OOPS!
Team work.
